My Skateboarding Experience

It was a warm Saturday morning, and john, mike and I were going to a skate park for the first time ever. We were all so excited to get there and we couldn’t wait to get on the board and skate on a flat surface.
But first, we had a problem holding the skateboard. We thought of putting it in John’s bag, but it didn’t fit.
Finally, after a long discussion, we thought of an idea: I had to put the skateboard between my backpack and my back. While we were on our way there, I had to balance the skateboard every five minutes so it wouldn’t fall.
When we got to the skate park, I didn’t find what I was expecting: there were too many people. I felt so strange, like I didn’t belong to that place, especially when I was looking at skateboarding pros. Even small kids were good skaters! I couldn’t feel my feet and I was as still as a rock.
John and Mike were encouraging me to get on the board and skate, but I refused. After a while, I spotted my cousin skating with his friends, which got me nervous to the bone. John and Mike got along with my cousin, and moment later they were all pushing me to skateboard. I had no choice; I realized that I was wasting my time, and more importantly, my first time in a skateboard park.
I got on the board and went down the ramp. You would never believe what it was like: it felt so amazing. I wanted to do it again and again. But unfortunately, we ran out of time, I wish we had more time to show off my unexpected skills.
